WHERE WE ARE
Tenuta Sant’Ilario, located in Gambassi terme in Tuscany, in a hilly area where you can admire all the beauty of the Chianti hills, is synonymous with luxury and relaxation, ideal for holidays with children or for group holidays in Tuscany.
From Bologna: Along the A1 motorway, follow the signs to Florence and once you reach Florence, take the Firenze-Scandicci exit; continue along the FI-PI-LI expressway towards Pisa-Livorno.
Take the third exit of Empoli and follow the directions for Castelfiorentino; once you arrive in Castelfiorentino, follow the signs for Gambassi Terme.
At Gambassi Terme, follow for Volterra and after about one kilometer on the right side of the road you will find a large parking area with the road signs that lead to Tenuta Sant’Ilario; following a typical tuscan white road easily passable for about 1.5 km you will arrive at the reception of the Sant’Ilario reception.
From Rome: Along the A1 motorway, follow the signs to Florence and once you reach Florence, take the Firenze-Impruneta exit; continue along the Siena-Florence highway.
Take the Poggibonsi Nord exit and follow the signs for Certaldo; once you arrive in Certaldo, follow the signs for Gambassi Terme.
At Gambassi Terme, follow for Volterra and after about one kilometer on the right side of the road you will find a large parking area with the road signs that lead to Tenuta Sant’Ilario; following a typical Tuscan white road easily accessible for about 1.5 km you will arrive at the reception of the Sant’Ilario Reception.
By Plane: Nearest airport Pisa G.Galilei.
From the airport take the FI-PI-LI expressway towards Florence, exit at the 2nd exit of Empoli and follow the signs for Castelfiorentino and then Gambassi Terme.
Once in Gambassi Terme follow for Volterra and shortly after the exit of the village of Gambassi Terme, along the road you find on your left Osteria Montagnola, enter the parking on your right and follow the signs of Tenuta Sant’Ilario.
By train: Nearest railway station Castelfiorentino.
Once you get to the station, to reach Tenuta Sant’Ilario you can choose two means of transport:
– Taxi (cost about 25€).
– Bus (cost approximately 2€). The nearest bus stop to the Estate is about 1.5 km away. Possibility on request to make pick up service.
IMPORTANT: to stay at Tenuta Sant’Ilario we recommend you bring a car (available on request to hire) as our position is in the countryside and to reach some villages and Tuscan villages there are no public transport but only service Taxi.
If on foot: it is advisable to arrive from Via dei Pozzi Vecchi, taking the walkway indicated as a white road on maps of the area.
